The greatest ignorance is to reject something you know nothing about.
If you think education is expensive, try ignorance.
There is nothing more frightful than ignorance in action.
The recipe for perpetual ignorance is: Be satisfied with your opinions and content with your knowledge.
Nothing in the world is more dangerous than a sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity.
There is only one good, knowledge, and one evil, ignorance.
Sometimes ignorance is innocence - stupidity comes with experience.
Most ignorance is vincible ignorance. We don't know because we don't want to know.
The two pillars of 'political correctness' are:
a) willful ignorance
b) a steadfast refusal to face the truth

"Sometimes ignorance is innocence - stupidity comes with experience"
Thanx Daanish, your comment made me think to write on Stupidity...
Stupidity, like virtue, is its own reward.
Another famous one : Ignorance is a bliss...
personally ignorance is the termite which is eating the whole world today; the main reason behind any conflict, issue or problem is ignorance ... :)
People say that ignorance is bliss; some argue that what you don't know can't hurt you… but is this really the case? What happens when you do find out the truth, does the bliss remain, or does it melt away into a vague memory to be replaced by something quite the opposite?
Very Nice... (Infact I was ignorant of such a beautiful blog..)..
Wud like to add.. thr is also sth called invincible ignorance which can't be eradicated even by utmost effort..and such a ignorance is no sin..

You kind of wrote the lines running in my mind. Ignorance has different versions but in any of its versions it is harmful; either in the present or in the future ...
